A look at the Boulevardia ticket packages

boulevardia-012915Boulevardia — the music, food and beer festival put on by the Boulevard Brewing Company — returns June 19-21 for its second year in the West Bottoms. And today, the festival broke down its ticket offerings. It’s safe to consider everything that’s a package is limited (and 21+ if it includes beer), while general admission tickets will be abundant.

Small Ticket/Big Ticket: General admission will be $15. Children under 12 get in free. You can also spend $1,000 for the Ultimate VIP Weekender Pass, which gets you into all three days of the festival, three nights at a hotel and two VIP Buzz/Sporting KC tickets, two VIP Taps & Tastes tickets, and two passes to the Father’s Day Brunch.

For Dad: There’s a Father’s Day Beer and BBQ Brunch ($65) on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For Cyclists: Ride to Boulevardia is a 15, 30, 60 or 100-mile trek to the festival that comes with a shirt, swag bag, food and beer vouchers and general admission on Saturday. Prices range from $40 to 50.

For music lovers: The Buzz/Sporting Kansas City VIP ticket ($65) is for Friday or Saturday. It gets you in with three beer tickets, reserved viewing of the stages, complimentary water, a private bar and restroom.

Taps & Tastes Changes: Taps & Tastes ($75) — the limited ticket tasting of brewery offerings not typically available in KC — is Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. You’ll get to meet brewers, eat small bites from KC chefs and walk away with a commemorative tasting glass. In response to frustration with the size of the space on the 12th Street Bridge last year, the tasting will be in a new spot off the bridge. There’s also a VIP ticket ($100) that gets you in an hour earlier at 3 p.m. The breweries in attendance are expected to be announced before Taps & Tastes goes on sale.
