Javanauts, prepare for blast off. Tickets for the annual Kansas City Caffeine Crawl are now on sale. This year’s spring crawl is over two days — Saturday, May 31, and Sunday, June 1 — and features 12 shops. Each stop features a different coffee or drink preparation, drink samples and a chance to meet the people that brew your tea or pull your shots.
The crawl is divided into six stops each day with caffeine seekers able to take the tour via bike (Saturday only), car or bus (tour guide included). On Saturday, the crawl stops at The Filling Station, Crows Coffee (which is slated to open this May), Shang Tea, Little Freshie, Quay Coffee and Christopher Elbow. On Sunday, the Caffeine Crawl ventures to Second Best Coffee, One More Cup, t. Loft, Thou Mayest, Mud Pie and The Roasterie.
This marks the fourth year that The Lab has organized the Caffeine Crawl, which is now in 10 cities. A fall Caffeine Crawl is also in the works for Kansas City. The upcoming tour runs between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets range from $24 to $32.[Image via Facebook: Quay Coffee]
