It’s time to be a culinary explorer. Kansas City Restaurant Week, launches today and runs through next Sunday, January 24. It’s a host of prix fixe lunches ($15) and dinners ($33) at 185 restaurants in the greater metro area. One suggestion? The BLVD Tavern (320 Southwest Boulevard) will set you up with grilled asparagus (with pickled cherries and a balsamic reduction) and a Reuben for lunch. Crane Brewing Company — the gentleman who currently make Orange Gose and Apricot Weiss — are holding a launch party for their arrival in Missouri on Monday at 4 p.m. at Bier Station (120 E Gregory Boulevard). The Raytown brewery began distributing in Kansas last month and will be hosting a series of events for their launch in Missouri over the course of next week.
