The Red Crow Brewing Company (20561 S Lone Elm Road, Spring Hill, Kansas) officially takes flight at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 17.
The Recommended Daily chatted with brewmaster Chris Roberts last year about why he started homebrewing and how this will be a family business because it includes his wife Mistie and her parents, Joe and Loretta Fisher. Red Crow had a lot of success in local homebrew competitions before securing a space next to Artistic Concrete Surfaces in Spring Hill, Kansas.
The brewhouse has a 7-barrel system and a tap room with garage doors that open out on to a patio. The brewery will open with four core brews: Frances (pale ale), Donna (American wheat), Elaine (Rye porter) and Isabelle (Belgian blonde). For those who want a snack or dinner, Red Crow will be hosting a rotating cast of food trucks. This Saturday, Beauty of the Bistro will be onsite at 6 p.m.
The Red Crow Brewing Company will be open from 4:30 to 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 12 to 10 p.m. Saturday and 12 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The phone number is 913-247-3641.
