The 10th annual Troost Ave. Festival (31st Street to Linwood) is Saturday from 12 to 9 p.m. They’ll be live music, dancing, a screening of “We Are Superman,” and plenty to eat. Chubby’s, The Jerusalem Cafe, JCC Popcorn and the Detroit Coney Dog food truck will all be on hand vending.

Tour Asia without leaving Overland Park. The 2014 Asian Cultural Festival is set for Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Blue Valley North High School (12200 Lamar Avenue). Dine on cuisine from across the Pacific while watching traditional dancing and martial arts displays.

The 11th Annual Parkville Microbrew Fest returns to English Landing Park on Saturday. There will be home brew samples and more than 40 breweries represented. The festival runs from 1 to 5 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the gate (you can buy tickets beginning at 11 a.m. on the day of the festival. It’s cash only).

Feel like a glass of wine and a stroll? The 14th Street Wine Walk is Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Power & Light District. For $25, you get a small plate and wine tasting at eight venues in the P&L. The glass is yours to keep.

If you’ve had any restaurants in Leawood’s Park Place on your radar, Saturday is a good day to cross them off the list. The Taste of Park Place is set for 2 to 4 p.m. There will be 13 restaurants dishing up bites, including frozen custard from Burger Fi, bacon marmalade from Pig & Finch, and slated caramel pudding from California Pizza Kitchen. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the event.
