What was your last great pizza slice, KC?

We live life a slice at a time here at the Recommended Daily. And right now, we’re looking for that next great slice of pizza. Earlier this week, The Kansas City Star wrote that there are 10 Neapolitan pizza joints vying for your mouth. While that number is mind-boggling, thin, quick-fired pizza pies are not the only cheese game in town.

We have fat pizzas, thick pizzas, greasy late-night slices, cheeseburger pizzas, pizza buffets, more ranch dressing than most island nations, and even some St. Louis-style cracker crust. Kansas City is like the Switzerland of pizza — we welcome all comers that aspire to combine cheese, sauce and dough. But today, we’re asking for you to deliver your judgment a triangle at a time. Where was your last best slice, Kansas City? Tell us in the comments, on Twitter or Facebook. We’re hungry and the countdown to lunch has started.

Juuuuust a bit late on this- but my last great slice was d’Bronx! I’ve had other pizzas since then (Nickys, Old Chicago, Landing – all places up by Liberty), but nothing compares to d’Bronx
